Newstead Enviroschool Leaders, 2011
Enviroschool leaders are meeting once a week to discuss enviroschool issues like the gardens, waste, safety, water, the gully and improvements to our school. We have reviewed the enviroschool vision, have planted some plants we received from 'Paper for Trees' and discussed future projects such as a waste audit, vegetable gardens, worm farming, composting, caring for and improving our environment.
Friday 24 June we planted our new plants from 'Paper for Trees' at the front of the school.
These plants are supplied by the paper recyclers to thank us for recycling the waste paper in our school.
